Hygiene : Always wash your hands with soap and water before handling the breast pump or breast milk.
Preparation : Use massage mode to soften the nipples, relax the breasts, relieve discomfort, stimulate milk flow, and improve pumping efficiency.
Comfort : Adjust the suction level to a comfortable setting. Do not lie down or lean forward while pumping to avoid milk leakage. If you feel pain, stop and try again with a lower suction level.
Pumping Duration : Pumping time varies from woman to woman. Generally, 15–20 minutes per breast is sufficient. The goal is to fully empty your breasts.
Storage : Use clean, airtight containers (glass or BPA-free plastic bottles) to store breast milk.
Refrigeration : Breast milk can be stored in the refrigerator (at 4°C / 39°F or below) for 3 to 5 days. Discard any unused milk after this period.
Do Not Mix : Do not mix freshly expressed milk with previously refrigerated milk.
Thawing & Warming : Thaw frozen breast milk in the refrigerator or under warm running water. Never use a microwave, as it can destroy nutrients and create hot spots that may burn your baby.
Thawed Milk : Thawed breast milk can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Never refreeze thawed milk.
Additional Tips :
Labeling : Label containers with the pumping date to track freshness.
Portions : Store milk in small portions (60–120 ml / 2–4 oz) to avoid waste.
Cleaning: Thoroughly wash and sterilize all breast pump parts after each use.
